Manual updates were proving to be susceptible to error and required multiple reviews to ensure that the business remained compliant with respect to management of employee information and entitlements. The business required a solution which would support the creation of a single source of truth for both employee data and payroll information.
Nano worked with the customer to design a number of integrations which allowed for the synchronisation of employee personal and work data between their HRIS (BambooHR) and Payroll (PayrollMetrics) solutions.
We deployed nanoConnect with integrations built to meet the functional requirements including.
- Employee Details (BBRH – PM)
- Employee Leave (BBHR – PM)
- Employee Balance (PM-BBHR)
This allowed the customer to ensure BambooHR remained the source of truth for employee information, allowing employees to freely update those details as required. With the leave integrations in place, the payroll solution was able to perform pay calculations based on each employee’s leave records accruals and balances. As such PayrollMetrics remained the source of truth for pay and payroll related data. With synchronisation of leave balances back into BambooHR, employees were able to see their accumulated leave when planning their next break.
Built for developers, the nanoConnect platform has allowed rapid development of the required integrations through the reuse of code and solutions from other integration projects.
As the company grows, the platform scales automatically to handle additional data. Deployed with minimal effort, nanoConnect provides the customer with development, testing and production environments in which to build, test and deployed integrations.
